WHAT'S AN I LIVING LAB?

I Living Labs are course units in a study program (or extracurricular course units) in which teams of students set to work on a challenge that confronts an entrepreneur, (non-profit) organization, or local government for example, for which there is no cut-and-dried solution and for which a solution can have a positive impact on the region they are located in. This program lasts for six weeks and occurs once a year. -

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM A E³UDRES² HACKATHON?

Hackathon is an activity where you can improve your organizational skills and focus on real-life problems with mentors and experts help. It starts with an innovative idea, which will serve as a draft for a challenge that will be developed by the team, through research and brainstorming processes. This project is distinguished by the fact that the team only has available 36 to 48 hours to come up with the solution. -

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE E³UDRES² BOOTCAMP?

Bootcamp takes place once a year, for 5 days where groups of students (4 to 5 elements) come together to find a solution to a problem within a European region, in order to contribute to an intelligent and more sustainable society. It provides deepened knowledge of design thinking and business models, the experience of pitching to a jury, various soft skills like time management, intercultural and international collaboration. -

WHAT ARE RURAL RESIDENCES?

E³UDRES² iResidency is an opportunity to broaden horizons and deepen knowledge about the communities belonging to E³UDRES². Therefore, for a week, individuals came into contact with everyday life outside the big cities. However, they will also get in touch with local politicians, business owners, or community associations, to gain insight into real local challenges. -
